House fire with Members outside with hose

Annual Live Fire Training in the Morning at the Perinton Joint Training Facility

It was a busy day yesterday for Brighton firefighters, starting with annual live fire training in the morning at the Perinton Joint Training Facility. A little after 2PM, Engine 305 led by Assistant Chief Sands provided a fill-in to Henrietta Fire District Station 7 during their fire on Brighton-Henrietta Town Line Road. Shortly before 9PM, Brighton Engine 305 led by Chief Hiller responded to assist Pittsford Fire Department with their house fire on Esternay Lane. The photo below (credit PHOTO 25) was taken just as Brighton was preparing to enter the home with the second hose line to assess fire spread. Luckily, there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians and the crew returned just after 10PM.
